I am in my tenth year in the financial services industry and have been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) since 2005. I am active in my community and church, serving on committees, coaching youth programs and teaching. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and acquired a master's equivalent in Nuclear Engineering at the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in Pittsburgh. I served 11 honorable years in the United States Navy, worked at Naval Reactors Headquarters in Washington D.C. and achieved the rank of Lieutenant. Subsequently, I worked at General Electric as a Six Sigma Black Belt, where I helped improve their operational efficiency. I am married with four children.
