My clients are intelligent and savvy people. Many of them could create their own plan and manage their own money if they wanted to spend their time studying, researching, planning, monitoring and stressing over these items. My clients have one thing in common: they don't want to play the part of the "brokerage baby" after a long day at work or after they retire. Life is too short. They want to go to their kids' talent shows, see their grandkids' baseball games, hang out with friends, travel to faraway places, impact people and pursue their passions. I act as their financial quarterback and coordinate their financial affairs so my clients can live their lives to the fullest.
My philosophy is simple.
First, be in top condition to take the quarterback spot. I graduated from the Carlson School of Management with a bachelor of science degree in business management and received the Boston University certificate in financial planning . I have earned the esteemed credentials of Certified Financial Planner™1, Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®)2 and Certified Fund Specialist (CFS)3.
Second, be honest. My 12 years in the financial industry and the four years prior to that as a youth pastor have taught me that honesty is the foundation of any long lasting relationship. There is no perfect investment and there are pros and cons to every planning strategy. I start client relationships with honesty to help avoid negative surprises down the road.
Third, provide excellent service. The clients I serve are used to having top notch service from the other professionals they work with. They can expect the same when they work with me.
